The popular market town of Keswick is just a mile away, and can be reached by an easy half hour walk along a footpath over fields or via the all-year launch service on Derwentwater, the lake being about 5 minutes walk from Low Leys.
This is an ideal location from which to explore the Northern areas of the Lake District National Park and beyond.
